Benefits of Dental Implants

Improved Aesthetics

Dental implants offer a natural and aesthetically pleasing solution, as the prosthetic teeth closely resemble real teeth, in both appearance and function.

Enhanced Functionality

Unlike removable dentures, dental implants provide stability and functionality similar to natural teeth. This allows individuals to chew and speak with confidence and ease. Unlike a bridge, implants do not require adjacent natural teeth to be touched and reduced.

Longevity and Durability

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. Their durability and resistance to decay make them a reliable, long-term solution for tooth replacement.

Preserving Bone Health

Implants stimulate the jawbone, preventing bone loss that commonly occurs with missing teeth. This helps maintain facial structure and overall oral health.

Our dental implant services include

Patient FAQs

What are dental implants?

A dental implant procedure involves replacing a missing tooth with an artificial one. It ensures durability while providing both aesthetic and functional resemblance to your natural dental arrangement.

What is the procedure for a dental implant?

The surgery involves placing a titanium screw in the bone replacing the root of the Tooth. Over time, it naturally integrates with the bone, providing a stable foundation. Next, a connection is attached, followed by installation of a customized crown, completing the restoration.

Are Dental implants the right choice for you?

  • If you have one or more missing teeth, but an otherwise healthy jaw bone and tissue structure, an implant may be the right choice to restore normal dentition and chewing habits.
  • Dental Implants may be Immediate or Delayed. Some considerations while making this choice would be:

Bone Availability: Implant placement is possible if there is adequate bone height and width. Immediate implants may be suitable when there is adequate availability of bone after the extraction of the tooth.

Patient Health: Implant placement is most often possible in patients with systemic health conditions such as diabetes and heart conditions but with an increased risk of complications.

Esthetic Preferences: If visible teeth are involved or time constraints have to be met, temporary teeth are fabricated to ensure that the patient’s natural appearance does not change during the healing period for the implant.

When can I travel after my implant?

o Travel can be advised as early as 24-36 hours post-surgery, depending on your recovery.

Will it be painful?

o To ensure patient comfort, the procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Post-surgical pain management is accomplished with use of selected drugs. Antibiotic coverage prevents infections and promotes healing

Can I eat with the implant normally?

Yes. Once the restoration is complete, the prosthetic tooth closely resembles the functionality of the original tooth. Therefore, you can eat normally if not better, than with a damaged tooth.

Will the implant look the same as other the natural teeth?

Yes. Dental implants are nearly identical to the natural tooth/teeth and therefore closely resemble the original dental structure
